U.S. Soccer October 23, 2009
CHICAGO (Oct. 23, 2009) - Visiting supporters tickets for the U.S. Men's National Team's international friendly Nov. 18 against fellow 2010 FIFA World Cup participants Denmark at NRGi Park in Aarhus, Denmark, will go on sale at 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 27. An order form for visiting supporters tickets will be available on ussoccer.com.
Tickets located in the stadium's East Tribune are $46 and are subject to availibility, with the order deadline falling on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. CT. Orders are limited to a number of 10 tickets per purchaser, with a $15 shipping rate per order. Fans are invited to pay with a Visa® card, the preferred card of U.S. Soccer.
The match will be a record 11th international on foreign soil for the United States in 2009, including five matches in the run to the final of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup. The match will be the USA's first on European soil since facing Spain on June 4, 2008, in Santander.
The U.S. and Denmark have met five times in their history - never on Danish soil - and the teams have split the spoils with an even 1-1-3 record. In the teams' last meeting on Jan. 20, 2007, at The Home Depot Center, both Jonathan Bornstein and Kenny Cooper scored in their national team debuts in helping the U.S. to a 3-1 victory. The match was also the first under Bob Bradley, and began his record-setting run of becoming the first coach in U.S. history to win his first three games in charge.
